Seth Carroll is a founding partner of CLG. He focuses his practice on litigation for clients and their families who have suffered serious injuries or death, catastrophic on-the-job injuries, and for those who have been discriminated against or deprived of their constitutional rights. Seth has tried to verdict or settled numerous personal injury, discrimination, and workers’ compensation cases. Seth has successfully represented his clients against companies of all sizes, including large multi-national corporations.
Seth is skilled in handling a large number of catastrophic cases. He has administrative experience in the EEOC, the Department of Labor and the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission. Seth has litigated cases at all levels of Virginia state court and has litigation experience in federal court in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. Additionally, Seth has experience in appellate work at both the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Virginia Supreme Court.
Seth is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have won million dollar verdicts and settlements. Seth is also an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He has lectured at legal conferences on topics ranging from employment discrimination to workers’ compensation.
Seth is a diehard Clemson football fan, donating yearly to support athletic scholarships at Clemson University. Seth graduated from Clemson in 2004, earning a B.A. in History with departmental honors. Subsequently, Seth obtained his law degree from the College of William & Mary in 2007. Upon graduating, he was recognized as the top law student in the area of labor and employment law.
