Holly is a paralegal at Commonwealth Law Group who specializes in complex workers’ compensation cases. Holly earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work from the Catholic University of America with a concentration in public policy. She subsequently received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Richmond.
Before coming to Commonwealth Law Group in 2015, Holly worked as a litigation paralegal specializing in insurance defense. By utilizing this experience, she is able to better understand the complex system of workers’ compensation in the state of Virginia. With her unique perspective, Holly works side by side with the attorneys to help clients recover from on-the-job injuries.
Holly sees her role as an opportunity to come into a client’s life at the moment they need help most. Her past experience in case management adds to her empathy for CLG clients: “Nobody ever calls a personal injury law firm because they’re having a good day,” she explained. “I know when I pick up the phone that the person on the other end is having a bad day. I can’t make it better right at the moment they call, but I can tell them how we will manage the steps to getting them back to where they were ― or as close as we can get to that ― before their accident.”
Holly is a driving force behind our commitment to putting our clients first. She helps to closely monitor each case she’s involved with and provide the personalized, client-focused service for which Commonwealth Law Group is known. She’s also an active member of the Richmond Paralegal Association, where she serves on the board and as head of the Pro Bono Committee.
