Do prisoners have rights?

Answered on 02/24/16 Prisoners' Rights

Absolutely. Even though some rights have been forfeited due to conviction and incarceration, prisoners have many important legal rights.  Unfortunately, many prisoners feel they do not have access to the legal system to protect themselves from constitutional and other legal violations. We are experienced in informing prisoners of their rights, and fighting to make sure prisoners’ rights are not abused. We believe all Americans have a right to access the legal system to protect their rights, including prisoners.
